Keys Me by Alyssa Alano

This is the video that started it all. Becuase of this video, Alysa Alano was transformed to a nameless member of the Viva Hot Babe into a celebrity.

Gad! For us who tried to study English and would rather be dead than be caught with the most terrible diction while on stage, this video is really something to think about! HAHAHAHAHA!

like i always say, the masa will either bring us up or will take us farther down the underbelly of socio-economic hell. until those people possessing the power to educate and re-orient the masa will step up and do their jobs, this country will have no future to work on. granting also that the masa will cooperate in the educational drive. my suspicision is, dili. so there...cynical no? but hey...you've been here before...

justin heard that "my gash" expression and now he uses it, he thinks it's quite rude (you know, gash meaning vagina) but I keep saying that's not how we use it in pinas. mao nay problema, atong i-change ang right way to make it sound funny tapos di na matarong.

Yes, she is now a celebrity here in the Philippines, guesting several TV shows with her Carabao English.

This video first spread in the internet, before the Major TV network catch up. She became an instant celebrity, thanks to the person who took the video while she was doing a show in SM Cebu, placed some crazy subtitles and post it at Youtube (the show was for Master Showman, a late night show at GMA 7 with Kuya Germs). Well she was already part of the second batch of the Viva Hot Babes (I didn't even know that there was a alreay a second batch). But they were not as famous as the First Batch (Asia Agcaoili, Jean Rosendahl, Maui Taylor, etc.)

Aww, she tried at least,thats the main thing. I think the subtitles help put us in the mindset that she's worse than we think. If you just hear her its not that bad, just my opinion as a native speaker of the language she tried so hard to butcher. "Celebs" are often put in predicaments where they are no good at what the should do, be it advertising a new clothing range to singing in a different language

Daz, she is really worst. She have been doing the rounds of TV guestings here in the Philippines and her bad diction and broken English have made her famous.

Lol if it made her famous then elecution lessons could be a death sentence for her. She should take up French, not even the French understand each other so she'd fit in well

i've seen this video months back at bryanboy.com. i think ja-de also forwarded it to me a few weeks later. i almost fell off my chair. it's hysterical! sure, she has become very popular. good for her! but to what end?

i was emailed a copy of this months ago. but there's something wrong with my speakers so la gihapon ko kapaminaw...is it really as bad as the subtitles make it out to be?
